Beginners Yoga
This class is designed as a true beginning approach to the practice of Iyengar yoga. Here you will begin with ujjayi breathing used to encourage focus. The breath is the link to the body and mind. Each posture is achieved with gentle guidance and support. The focus is on achieving a conscious breath and conscious movement. This is a small class, in which props are used and which can easily be adapted for any fitness level. We feel confident that Danielle provides a great introduction to the powerful and effective practice of Iyengar Yoga.

Iyengar Yoga 1-2
Those of us who take up yoga as an antidote to a busy, stressful life find this class refreshing. It is effective at releasing tension, building confidence, strength, and promoting balance. This lively class is guided by Tricia, who believes yoga to be a learnable practice that helps us to slow down and free us of all the self-defeating tendencies that keep us stuck. "As we achieve balance inside, we come to treasure balance outside ourselves, we learn the Native American wisdom... to walk on the earth with balance and strength." (Mary White Feather)
